CVS Finds 1/14


Finally I made it over to CVS this week. There weren't a lot of great deals on things we need, but here's what I picked up...

Transaction 1 (self checkout)

1 Nature's Bounty Fish oil 120 ct $10.49
1 Nature's Bounty Fish oil 120 ct $Free (bogo this week)
1 Oil of Olay Quench Lotion $9.99

Coupons Used:
(1) $5.00 off $20 purchase CVS (Sacramento Bee printable exp. 1/16)
(2) $3.00 off Nature's Bounty printables (enter codes from previous purchases)
(1) $3.00 off olay quench lotion (from Cosmo magazine I got for free)
(1) $6.00 ECB from last time

Total Out of Pocket $1.07 ($0.59 was sales tax) For $30.49 worth of product Got back $3.00 ECB to use next time and will submit the $9.99 for the Olay Quench Rebate to make this a money maker.

Total Out of Pocket would have been $1.14 ($0.45 of which was sales tax)but I paid with a amex gift card I've had in my wallet for a while For $40.73 worth of product Got back $3.00 ECB and $2.00 ECB to use next time.

Note to self, always scan every item you buy before you check out. My totals were off on the second transaction and I ended up having to buy the cvs fruit because the aspirin was on sale (unmarked, because the actual aspirin I wanted to buy wasn't in stock). If I had known I would have bought something more useful then chocolate covered fruit, but I had to grab whatever was closest to not hold up the line, Oh well, E will be happy.
